The Writing of
the Gaze

As part of my Master’s project in Typographic Design, I conducted a site-specific investigation combining photography, drawing, mark-making, writing, and editorial design. My objective was to question and refine my way of looking at the granite chaos of Ploumanac'h (France) through writing, notation, and visual recording—as means to document, convey, and extend observation.

This research culminated in a book entitled L’écriture du regard, which reflects my approach to engaging with a landscape: how to read it, question it, traverse it. The book serves as a field atlas, gathering and structuring my various modes of writing the granite chaos through different entry points: discovering, listening, sharpening, and documenting one’s gaze.
It explores both a territory and a way of seeing it.
